HSE Recruitment in Hull is seeking a hands-on HSE Consultant to support a renewable energy manufacturing site on a 6-month contract. The role is full-time on a single site with an immediate start and a day rate of £480 outside IR35.

You will lead incident investigations, review findings, identify root causes and drive corrective actions, while updating legal compliance records and working closely with the HSE team and operations to raise safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven HSE experience within manufacturing, preferably renewables.
• Experience supporting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Good understanding of legal compliance, risk management and practical site safety.
• Experience with lifting equipment and lifting-related risks is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Supporting incident investigations, including reviewing findings and following up on corrective actions.
• Reviewing and updating legal compliance documentation to ensure H&S obligations are met.
• Collaborating with the H&S team and stakeholders to manage day-to-day safety across the site.
• Identifying wider risks and opportunities to improve safety standards and procedures.
• Providing practical, hands-on support in a busy manufacturing environment.
