Job summary

HSE Recruitment in Hull is seeking a hands-on HSE Consultant to support a renewable energy manufacturing site on a 6-month contract. The role is full-time on a single site with an immediate start and a day rate of £480 outside IR35.

You will lead incident investigations, review findings, identify root causes and drive corrective actions, while updating legal compliance records and working closely with the HSE team and operations to raise safety standards.

Qualifications

Job description

This contract HSE Consultant role in Kingston upon Hull supports a renewable energy manufacturing site for an initial six months, working full-time on a single-site basis. Day rate is £480, outside IR35, with an immediate start. Duties include supporting incident investigations, reviewing findings, pinpointing root causes and tracking corrective actions through to completion. The successful contractor will also review and update legal compliance records, helping the site meet its health and safety obligations. Close collaboration with the existing safety team and operational stakeholders is essential to manage daily risks. Candidates need proven site-based health and safety experience, strong investigative ability, knowledge of UK legislation and a practical, hands‑on approach to improving standards.
