Job summary

Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin) is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to lead health, safety and environmental improvements at the Chippenham site. You will coach site staff, ensure policy implementation, and monitor compliance with current legislation.

The role requires strong auditing skills, experience in HSE management systems, and the ability to influence the senior management team. Travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates show leadership in HSE policy deployment and continuous improvement.
• Experience delivering health, safety and environmental management systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach and support site staff in Health, Safety and Environmental improvement.
• Ensure policies are implemented consistently across the site.
• Monitor and review HSE policies, advise on compliance and implement new procedures.
• Advise senior management on legislation implications and action plans.
• Provide specialist health, safety and environmental advice to managers.
• Conduct audits and identify improvements to systems and practices.
• Report leading and lagging KPIs with dashboards; track performance.
• Identify improvement opportunities at site, territory and unit levels.
• Share best practices across HSE teams and investigate incidents with corrective actions.
