Job description

VANRATH is delighted to assist a Global Manufacturing Company with the recruitment of a Senior HSE Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within a reputable organization that values its staff.

The role is based at the company's office in Ballymoney, with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Salary: Negotiable + 10% Bonus, Growth Opportunities, and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with local Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, as well as company policies.
2. Report on HSE Performance KPIs, environmental monitoring, and measurement.
3. Lead HSE Steering meetings and Safety Committees.
4. Assist in Claims management processes.
5. Regularly review HSE Risk Assessments, Policies, and Procedures.
6. Support HSE and continuous improvement projects.
7. Conduct Accident/Incident investigations and support other investigations.
8. Work with regulatory enforcement agencies, insurance providers, and occupational health services.
9. Identify and deliver HSE training programs as needed.
10. Collaborate with site teams to ensure safety improvements and deployment of HSE/SIF roadmaps.
11. Ensure the safety of contractors and visitors on site.
12. Support HSE budget management, including processing purchase orders and resolving invoice queries.
13. Coordinate and consult with leadership teams.
14. Perform other reasonable tasks as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Possesses a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar, or is working towards it.
2. Has experience in a similar HSE role.
3. Has knowledge of current HSE legislation.
4. Is familiar with risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Display Screen Equipment.
