Job description

VANRATH is assisting a Global Manufacturing Company in recruiting a Senior HSE Advisor. This is a great opportunity to work in a reputable organization that values its staff.

The position is based at the company's office in Ballymoney, with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Salary & Benefits

Negotiable salary plus a 10% bonus, growth opportunities, and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and company policies.
  • Report on HSE KPIs, environmental monitoring, and measurement.
  • Lead HSE steering meetings and safety committees.
  • Assist in claims management processes.
  • Review and update HSE risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
  • Support HSE and continuous improvement projects.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations.
  • Work with regulatory agencies, insurance, and occupational health providers.
  • Identify and deliver HSE training programs.
  • Collaborate with site teams to implement HSE improvement plans and ensure safety.
  • Ensure safety of contractors and visitors on site.
  • Support HSE budgeting and procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with leadership teams on HSE matters.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Ideal Candidate:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent (candidates working towards qualification are also considered).
  • Experience in a similar HSE role.
  • Knowledge of current HSE legislation.
  • Familiarity with risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and display screen equipment regulations.
