Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking Health, Safety & Environmental Advisors to join our UK-wide teams across a range of projects from highways to building and water. You will apply risk management experience to support site teams and drive a strong safety culture.

You’ll report to the Project HS&E Manager, carry out on-site assurance activities, provide practical advice in high-risk environments and help investigations and learning to raise HSE performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with risk management and safety leadership on construction sites.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with project teams.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and systems.
• Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project HS&E Manager and support safety teams.
• Carry out regular assurance activities and monitor compliance.
• Provide practical on-site health, safety and environmental advice.
• Support incident investigations and share learning.
• Develop and deliver improvement plans to raise HSE performance.
• Promote inclusive safety culture and empower teams to speak up.
