Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours per week)

Role Overview
Introduction to the role:
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the firm’s HR systems, whilst providing management information to the wider business, acting as point of contact for data analytics, metrics and reporting associated with the HR team.
Introduction To The Team
As a HR Systems Manager, you will be part of a wider HR team that supports the firm in areas such as HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, diversity and inclusion and reward. Led by the Chief People Officer, the team is currently made up of 27 people, who strive to deliver a seamless service to all Partners and employees
Key Responsibilities
- Updating and maintain the firm’s HR system (Dayforce), including managing change requests, maximising the capability of the system and implementing new functionality to assist the HR team and wider business.
- System configuration and change implementation, liaising with system providers
- Co-ordinating system changes with stakeholders across the business and within the HR team
- Providing additional support to the HR team by producing ad-hoc reports and providing training on the system.
- Reviewing the HR system configuration and functionality, suggesting improvements
- Leading any systems integration projects from an HR perspective.
- Overseeing production, analysis and distribution of regular monthly management information including the exec report and individual business group dashboards.
- Compiling, analysing and interpreting information to support HR and wider business needs on an adhoc basis, such as client tenders and audits
- Data cleansing and auditing, taking responsibility and ensuring accuracy of data.
- D&I reporting such as gender pay gap report, ethnicity stay gap report, SRA questionnaire, reporting findings back to the business and HR team
- Documenting and mapping out team processes.
- Managing the annual salary and bonus review process. Liaising with colleagues in finance, setting expectations and deadlines
- Pro-actively thinking of improvements to systems and processes which will support the HR function and strengthen relationships with other teams across the business.
- Involvement in team project work.
- Attending systems and data related events, keeping up to date with latest reporting trends and networking with others in similar roles
- Managing the HR Systems and Data Analyst, setting clear objectives and supporting their development
- Acting as influential member of HR team, supporting with process improvements
What Are We Looking For
Important criteria:
- Proven experience in a similar role with reporting experience preferably within an HR function
- Able to work proactively to identify areas of system improvement and/or change
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to gather complex data and translate into a format that is both relevant and easy to understand for the target audience
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage time effectively, self-motivated, organised and resourceful
- Able to multi task and work under pressure delivering work accurately, to strict deadlines, managing competing demands and requests for reports
- Strong verbal and written communication ability with well-developed stakeholder management skills, good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels throughout the business
- High level of IT literacy and skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel including the production of charts, statistical data, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
- Able to think creatively, logically and pragmatically
It would be beneficial for you to have some of the following:
- Experience business intelligence applications/SQL reporting such as Crystal
- Knowledge and experience of Power BI
- Experience of system upgrades/improvements and Data Migration
- Experience of training team members on system improvements and reporting/excel skills
