Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Systems Developer to join the Systems and Analytics Team in Motherwell. You will work with Lead Developers to maximise workforce systems like iTrent and ServiceNow within HR/Payroll, ensuring processes meet legislative requirements and user needs.

The role requires experience with workforce systems in HR and Payroll, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset. Hybrid working is offered from the Civic Centre, Motherwell.

Qualifications

• Educated to HNC level in a relevant subject.
• Experience designing, developing and supporting workforce systems such as iTrent and ServiceNow within an HR/Payroll environment.
• Knowledge of workforce processes, payroll administration and associated legislative requirements.
• Excellent collaboration in a busy HR/Payroll systems environment.
• Self-motivation, flexibility and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Work with Lead Systems Developers to maximise the effectiveness and value of workforce systems.
• Design innovative solutions and build systems that meet user needs.
• Collaborate with People Resources teams to ensure systems meet organisational needs and legislative requirements.
• Support HR and Payroll services by aligning systems with processes and compliance.
