Role Purpose
The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of the Firm’s HRIS, focusing on ensuring the system is working as effectively as possible, developing technical efficiency and supporting enhancements and integrations.
This role reports into the HR Operations, MI & Systems Manager and sits with the HR Operations, MI & Systems team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for PeopleHub, using detailed knowledge of the system and its data to support queries, resolve issues and help deliver the HR Systems roadmap across Employee Central (EC), Performance and Goal Management, Reporting, Employee Central Payroll, Onboarding, Platform, Succession and Development.
- Work with internal teams (IT, Finance) where necessary to plan, build and implement new HRIS integrations and support maintenance of current connections.
- Manage the Firm’s position management process independently, embedding this into Recruitment and Finance processes where needed, alongside regular system activity such as imports, bulk updates, configuration changes, permission role management and onboarding document updates.
- Plan, build and successfully implement new enhancements across the platform to improve HR processes.
- Support with regular data cleanses and reconciliations. Demonstrate an ongoing endeavour to ensure data integrity and transparency is achieved in all aspects to do with managing data, supporting the HR Reporting Analyst to deliver reliable information.
- Proactively support the time off/absence module, including Period end processing and absence buy/sell.
- Apply in depth knowledge of EC Payroll and GUI to support the running of the firm payroll.
- Apply and share knowledge of how data flows between the core HR database and other systems across the firm and specifically the downstream impacts on other departments.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements, troubleshoot system issues and provide practical recommendations or alternative solutions where system limitations exist. Present ideas clearly and create or provide training and guidance where needed.
- Support HR technology governance and platform management best practice, including release management, system refreshes, testing, production moves and enhancement intake. Maintain a working knowledge of the SAP support model and use available SAP resources, including the SAP account team, to help improve adoption and use of the SuccessFactors platform.
- Partner with the AMS vendor to support effective service delivery, ensuring tickets are appropriately managed, prioritised and escalated where required.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience of working with SAP/SuccessFactors with sound working knowledge of a variety of modules including EC, ECP (including GUI) Onboarding, Comp, PMGM, Succession & Development.
- Proven experience leading the delivery of medium to high complexity HR systems enhancements and/or module rollouts, with the ability to apply global design considerations and manage end-to-end implementation impacts.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel (specifically ‘vlookups’, pivot tables, ‘if’ formulas etc.)
- System Admin SFX Accreditation
- Interest in, and experience of, generative and agentic AI capabilities within SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous, particularly where this supports future system improvements and efficiencies.
- Understanding of data protection regulations e.g. GDPR
- CIPD Level 5 accreditation or equivalent relevant experience
