Job summary

YTL UK is seeking an experienced HR leader to manage the HR Service Centre in Bath on a 1-year fixed-term contract. You will lead a skilled team supporting around 4,500 colleagues and ensuring a high-quality, accurate HR service across the employee lifecycle.

You will drive continuous improvement, use data to monitor performance, and collaborate with the People team to shape the future of HR Operations, delivering transformation initiatives and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in HR/shared services.
• Strong data, reporting and insight to drive continuous improvement.
• Experience with HR systems and reporting tools; strong Excel skills.
• Degree-level qualification; CIPD Level 5 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR Service Centre team to deliver a high-quality, reliable, customer-focused service.
• Develop a high-performing team by building capability and culture.
• Drive service excellence with clear, accurate, timely support across the employee lifecycle.
• Identify and deliver improvements to HR processes, systems and ways of working.
• Use performance data and customer insight to monitor service delivery and drive improvements.
• Ensure HR records are accurate, compliant and well maintained.
• Support HR transformation initiatives and scalable services.
• Act as escalation point for complex service, policy, payroll or system issues.
• Support delivery of People priorities including pay reviews and reporting.
