Davenham Switchgear Limited in Nottingham is seeking an HR & Recruitment Assistant to support hiring, onboarding and employee lifecycle administration. The role is full-time and based on site at our Nottingham site, with a salary of £31,332.60 per year.

You’ll manage CV screening, interviews, time and attendance, GDPR compliance and keep accurate HR records while contributing to process improvements and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR coordination and administration.
• Understanding of basic HR processes, employment contracts, and Right to Work.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, able to build relationships and work across teams.
• Comfortable using HRIS, ATS, Excel & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supporting hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration
• Conducting first sift of candidates & first stage remote interviews & arranging in person interviews
• Managing time and attendance, absence tracking, and contract changes
• Ensuring accurate HR data and compliance with GDPR and Right to Work regulations
• Maintaining employee records and documentation
• Participating in process improvements and compliance audits
