Job summary

St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham is seeking an experienced HR Project Lead to deliver practical improvements across our People Directorate. You will lead transformations that digitalise HR systems, streamline processes and enhance the employee lifecycle for managers and staff.

We value your end-to-end delivery track record in HR operations and your ability to manage stakeholders, drive change and measure impact to sustain new ways of working across the organisation.

Qualifications

• PM qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven end-to-end delivery in HR operations or transformation.
• Experience with HR technology and digital HR projects.
• Knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Independent and collaborative work style with good reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR transformation projects from planning to handover.
• Implement and optimise HR tech, integrations and self-service.
• Streamline processes across HR systems and rostering.
• Build partnerships across HR, IT, Finance and operations.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and change management.
• Measure outcomes and demonstrate impact for continuous improvement.

Location: Sydenham | Hours: 36 hours per week | Contract: 12-month fixed term | Salary: £50,834 per annum

St Christopher’s Hospice is seeking an experienced HR Project Lead to deliver practical, sustainable improvements across our People Directorate. You will lead transformation projects that digitalise HR systems, streamline processes and enhance the experience of employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Lead HR transformation projects from planning through implementation, evaluation and handover.
• Implement and optimise HR technology, integrations and employee self-service.
• Streamline processes across HR systems, workforce management, rostering, benefits and reward.
• Build effective partnerships across HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, operational teams and external suppliers.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and change management so new ways of working are adopted and sustained.
• Measure outcomes and use insight and feedback to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement.

About you

• A recognised project management qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven end-to-end project delivery experience in HR operations, HR systems or transformation.
• Experience of HR technology, process improvement or digital transformation.
• Sound knowledge of HR best practice and employment law principles.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning and organisational skills.
• A proactive, independent and collaborative approach, with excellent written reporting skills.
