Valence School is seeking an HR professional to provide day-to-day administration across all HR functions, handling queries promptly and professionally. You will coordinate recruitment from advertising through to appointment, ensuring pre-employment checks and onboarding meet Safer Recruitment requirements.
You will coordinate staff probation and promotions, assist with absence monitoring and HR reporting, and support the HR Manager with employee relations.
You will provide day to day administration support for all HR related matters across all HR functions, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and effectively.
You will coordinate the recruitment process from advertising through to appointment ensuring all pre-employment checks and onboarding processes meet safer recruitment requirements.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the staff probation and promotion processes and assist with absence monitoring and HR reporting, supporting the HR Manager with employee relations.
You will maintain accurate HR records in line with data protection requirements., You will have the chance to contribute to supporting the delivery of high quality education, learning and care to our students and where your work has a direct impact on staff experience and organisational effectiveness.
We are looking for an HR professional who has a minimum of 3 years experience of working in a busy and varied HR department.
You will have a good knowledge of HR employment legislation and can handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
You will also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities whilst also working collaboratively as part of a team.
Attention to detail, strong administration skills and confidence with MS Office packages and HR information systems are essential along with a professional, positive can-do attitude.
Experience working within education would be advantageous but is not essential.
