Job summary

Lydiate Learning Trust in England is seeking an exceptional HR People Partner to join our People and Culture Team. Working term-time plus 10 days (41 weeks per year), you will advise Headteachers and senior leaders on employee relations, wellbeing and workforce development across our network of schools.

You'll lead on complex casework, ensure legal compliance, support recruitment and succession planning, and use people data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex employee relations casework.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge with UK employment law.
• Ability to build credible relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills.
• Organised and able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on employee relations and people management across schools.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and investigations.
• Support leaders to develop confidence and capability in people management.
• Lead wellbeing, engagement and workforce development initiatives.
• Ensure HR policies remain compliant and aligned with best practice.
• Support recruitment, talent management and succession planning across the Trust.
• Use people data and insight to drive continuous improvement.
