Job summary

Lydiate Learning Trust is seeking an experienced HR People Partner to join our People and Culture Team. Working term time plus 10 days (41 weeks per year), you will advise school leaders on employee relations and people management across our schools.

You will build strong relationships, support wellbeing and workforce development, ensure policy compliance and drive continuous improvement through insightful people data and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex employee relations casework.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge and understanding of UK employment law.
• Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills.
• Organised, resilient and able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on employee relations and people management across schools.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and investigation processes.
• Support leaders to develop confidence and capability in managing people.
• Lead on wellbeing, engagement and workforce development initiatives.
• Ensure HR policies and practices remain legally compliant and aligned with best practice.
• Support recruitment, talent management and succession planning across the Trust.
• Use people data and insight to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
