Job summary

Shropdoc is seeking a Senior People and Development Officer to join our small, collaborative People team in Shrewsbury. Based at the head office, you will provide practical HR support, advise managers and help strengthen learning and capability across the organisation.

With pro-rata salary of £35,000–£38,000 per annum for 30 hours per week, and one day remote work, you’ ll play a key role in fostering a supportive, compliant and development-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in core HR functions including employee relations.
• Ability to advise managers and support learning, development and capability building.
• Interest in payroll and health & safety would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to collaborate in a small, proactive People team.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and support to managers and colleagues.
• Contribute to employee relations activity and policy implementation.
• Help strengthen learning, development and manager capability across Shropdoc.
