AWD online is seeking an HR & Payroll Business Partner to balance trusted HR advice with accurate payroll coordination on a 100% onsite basis in Burnley, Lancashire. You will work with managers and employees to support employee relations, performance, engagement and development, while coordinating payroll with an outsourced provider.

The role combines strategic HR initiatives with operational delivery, delivering data-driven insights and compliant payroll records to drive business performance.

Qualificações

• Strong relationship management and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Experience of payroll preparation with outsourced providers.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including coaching and influencing managers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR and payroll data.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail when handling payroll and sensitive employee information.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to align people initiatives with organisational objectives.
• Effective organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• HR Advice and Support: Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, engagement and organisational development.
• People Initiatives: Lead and support activities that align HR strategy with business objectives and positive organisational outcomes.
• Data and Insight: Analyse HR data and key metrics to identify trends, support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Payroll Coordination: Manage monthly payroll submissions, ensuring employee data is accurate, compliant and submitted within agreed deadlines.
• Payroll Queries and Records: Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries and maintain payroll, absence, holiday and statutory leave records.
• Reporting and Attendance: Produce payroll and people reports, manage time and attendance processes and support year-end payroll activities.
