Job summary

The Arete Learning Trust is seeking a skilled Trust HR Officer to join our central support services and provide professional, high-quality HR advisory across the Trust. You will support leaders, recruit staff, and handle complex casework with discretion.

Based in North Yorkshire, the role offers a permanent, full-time contract (37 hours/week, term-time + 2 weeks) and a generous benefits package including LGPS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Collaborative team player with leadership qualities and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, high quality & responsive operational HR support across the Trust.
• Work alongside internal & external stakeholders to support the effective delivery of HR services.
• Support School Leaders to develop their skills through professional advice, support & coaching.
• Support the efficient and effective recruitment of staff across the Trust.
• Support schools with complex casework.
