Job summary

Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) offers an undergraduate HR Operations placement in Milton Keynes. The role supports Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Culture & Engagement, DEI, and data reporting, within a hybrid office setup.

The successful candidate will study an undergraduate degree with a placement year, bring strong Excel/PowerPoint skills (Tableau helpful), and demonstrate curiosity, organisation, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree, preferably HR, business or people related.
• Excel and PowerPoint skills with Tableau beneficial.
• Clear and confident communication with colleagues at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage many tasks in a busy environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially with confidential information.
• Flexible team player who is proactive and adapts to team pressures.

Responsibilities

• Produce MI for regular reporting cycles for key stakeholders including Board of Management and HQ.
• Assist in preparing annual MI packs for functional business areas and VWFS UK.
• Plan, coordinate and administer DEI-focused activities.
• Manage colleague communications and oversee DEI and Community intranet content with Internal Communications.
• Support Community activity including volunteering opportunities, funding requests, reporting, and audit records.
• Attend Community Committee meetings, minute-taking, and manage Community Committee and Inclusion mailboxes.
• Assist with employee engagement surveys and ad-hoc HR Operations and Culture & Engagement tasks.
