Job description

Tesla is seeking an HR Operations Payroll Specialist to join our growing HR Operations team in London. With excellent organizational skills, time-planning, and attention to detail, you directly contribute to a fantastic employee experience.

Our Payroll team is an integral function that provides support to our Employee population in the UK, Ireland, Turkey, and across the Middle East. Join us in accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy whilst giving a Best-in-Class experience to our Employees.

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for timely collating of payroll relevant data and transmitting all payroll input to our external payroll vendors.
  • Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records.
  • Process advance, termination, and other out-of-cycle payments.
  • Independently coordinate and liaise with our internal stakeholders and/or external parties (as required).
  • Run, develop, and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage relationships with wider HR teams to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements.
  • Responsible for maintaining current work instructions and FAQs to support employees to self-serve.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in HR and/or Payroll input preparation.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus.
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment against deadlines.
  • Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel.
  • English language skills; both written and spoken.
