Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as a HR Officer

You will be the first point of contact for all HR and Employee Relations (ER) enquiries, delivering expert support to both the HR team and wider business, while also contributing to key strategic HR projects.

You’ll receive a competitive salary, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Advise, support and coach new and existing line managers with various HR policies and processes
  • Manage and resolve a range of ER cases, including but not limited to supporting underperformance and absence management
  • Assess workplace priorities, identify risks, and ensure each case is evaluated and managed appropriately on it's own merit
  • Utilise the service desk platform to track and respond to a variety of HR queries within a prompt and efficient manner

What you’ll bring to the role

You will have a strong background in Employee Relations (ER) and case management, within a fast paced environment. You’ll also have:

  • Strong letter and report writing skills
  • Flexible attitude and adaptable to changing priorities and styles depending on business demands
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask with conflicting priorities
  • Experience working cross departmental
