I am looking for a HR Officer to join our client, Gwent Police, on a temporary contract until January 2025.

Details:

• Hours: Monday – Friday – 9am-5pm (37.5 hours)
• Location: Hybrid – Cwmbran, Gwent
• Hourly rate: £15.96 per hour

Summary:

Working as part of a large HR team, reporting to the HR and Planning Operation Lead, you will provide support on the implementation and adherence of HR Policies, Procedures and Processes, ensuring effective support to colleagues, Line Managers and individuals in all aspects of the HR Life Cycle.

You will also support and signpost activities such as attendance management, maternity, and flexible working.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice, guidance, and information or signposting to managers or staff on issues including HR Policies and Procedures, Recruitment, and other HR-related topics.
