Job summary

Michael Page HR is recruiting an HR Officer for a busy people function within a Higher Education organisation in London. The role involves employee relations, recruitment, HR administration and projects, working closely with managers and employees to deliver an excellent employee experience.

The successful candidate will maintain records, support onboarding, prepare contracts, deliver HR reports and contribute to policy and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience using HR systems and databases.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for HR queries and employee relations matters.
  • Maintain HR records, employee data and HR system information.
  • Prepare HR documentation including contracts and employment changes.
  • Support employee relations cases, investigations and formal meetings.
  • Deliver onboarding activities and HR inductions.
  • Produce HR reports and management information.
  • Assist with policy reviews, HR projects and process improvements.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Manage HR inbox queries and ensure timely responses.
  • Keep up to date with employment law and HR best practice

Description

Job Offer
  • Salary ranging from £32,000 to £37,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Hybrid working model with two days in the office each week.
