Job summary

Glenthorne High School is seeking an organised, proactive HR Officer to join our school community. Working with an HR Assistant, you will be the main point of contact for HR queries, supporting staff and managers across the school.

You will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, liaise with Willow Learning Trust's Central Services, and help ensure processes comply with employment legislation and Trust policies, contributing to safeguarding and staff well-being.

Qualifications

• Organised, proactive HR professional with strong communication and attention to detail.
• Experience supporting staff and managers in an educational environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and school/trust policies.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for HR queries and provide guidance to staff and managers.
• Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and collaborate with Central Services to ensure timely HR processes.
• Contribute to delivering a professional, responsive HR service across the school and support safeguarding and staff wellbeing.

Job description

Glenthorne High School are seeking an organised, proactive, and professional HR Officer to join our school community. Working alongside an HR Assistant, the successful candidate will be the main point of contact for HR queries, providing support and guidance to staff and managers across the school.

The role covers all aspects of the employee lifecycle, working closely with the Trust's Central Services team to ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently and in line with employment legislation and Trust policies.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a professional, responsive, and effective HR service across the school.
