Infinity Academies Trust invites applications for an HR Officer on a one-year fixed-term basis, with potential to become permanent, based at our Head Office in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will deliver day-to-day transactional and operational HR support across the Trust, administer the employee lifecycle, assist payroll and recruitment, maintain SCR and personnel records, and help build a positive staff culture.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the HR team at Infinity Academies Trust as an HR Officer, initially on a one-year fixed-term basis, with the potential to become permanent.
Reporting to the HR Manager, this key role will provide a wide range of day-to-day transactional and operational HR support to staff and leaders across the Trust. Key responsibilities will include administering the employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment processes, managing absence administration, assisting with monthly payroll activities, maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR), and ensuring confidential personnel records are kept accurately and securely.
This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities. You will have the opportunity to build strong working relationships at all levels across the Trust. Experience gained within the education sector or a local government environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
Infinity Academies Trust is a family of 20 primary schools across Lincolnshire. The Trust's Central Team provides expert support in estates management, finance, governance, HR, and operations, enabling schools to focus on delivering the highest standards of education.
We are looking to recruit someone for 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) pro rata for the fixed term period of one year. This role is based at our Head Office in Boston, Lincolnshire. On completion of initial training, there will be the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days per week depending upon the needs of the organisation and determined through workflow and with discussion with the line manager.
