Diamond Search Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on HR Manager to support a multi-site care and education provider. The role involves advising managers, handling employee relations, and contributing to HR projects across locations with occasional UK travel.

You will coach managers, manage complex ER cases, support recruitment and workforce planning, and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential in this varied, values-led environment.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience required, likely at HR Manager or Senior HR Adviser level.
• Practical employee relations knowledge.
• Ability to advise and influence operational managers.
• Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and HR processes.
• Excellent communication, judgement and organisational skills.
• Proactive, approachable style with constructive challenge.
• Experience in education, SEND, social care, healthcare or multi-site services welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical HR advice across disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance and absence matters.
• Managing complex employee relations cases and supporting investigations.
• Coaching managers to handle people matters confidently and consistently.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Contributing to organisational change, TUPE, restructuring and HR improvement projects.
• Monitoring HR trends, compliance and management information.
• Working closely with senior leaders and contributing to college leadership meetings.
• Supporting HR activity across college locations, with some UK travel.
