About Our Client

PageGroup are excited to be retained to support a highly successful, growing organisation based near Matlock with the appointment of a pivotal HR Manager role.

Due to the nature of this sector, the role will be fully office based working.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group MD and working closely with the SMT, this is a pivotal role within a rapidly growing organisation. You will take full responsibility for all People matters including all operational HR, HR projects, initiatives and supporting the MD with the People Strategy.

This will include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and on boarding.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations, offering guidance and support to stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, appraisals and development programmes.
  • Support the development of the small HR team
  • Support with continuous development and improvement of the HR offering, systems and procedures
  • Staff engagement survey
  • Support the MD to promote diversity and inclusion

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • A proven background in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing/construction/building sectors
  • Ideally CIPD Level 5/7
