Job Description

You will:

  • Deliver end-to-end HR support across the organisation, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, and performance management
  • Support and coach line managers on HR processes, policies, and best practice
  • Lead on HR casework, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
  • Manage and mentor the HR Administrator, helping develop their skills
  • Contribute to culture, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Support workforce planning and organisational development projects

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong generalist HR experience, ideally in housing, public, or not-for-profit sectors
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to manage HR casework and support managers effectively
  • Hands-on approach with confidence to work autonomously
  • Experience in line management or mentoring
  • Values-driven, collaborative, and passionate about making a positive difference
