Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Crumlin is seeking an HR Manager to own the day-to-day HR function, supporting eight managers and driving structured HR processes. The role starts ASAP, with a hands-on focus on contracts, records, policies and GDPR compliant practices.
As the function grows, you will contribute to wider HR strategy and work closely with the Managing Director to shape engagement, retention and workforce planning across the business.
HR Manager Location: Crumlin Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience Start: ASAP An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Manager to join an established business based in Crumlin.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day HR function and provide support and guidance to eight managers across the business.
Initially, this will be a hands-on, operational role focused on reviewing and improving existing HR processes, ensuring contracts, employee records and policies are accurate and up to date, and introducing greater structure and consistency across the business.
As the HR function develops, there will be genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to become increasingly involved in the wider HR strategy.
We are open to candidates at different stages of their HR career.
You may already be an experienced HR Manager who can hit the ground running, or an ambitious HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor with around 2-3 years' experience looking to take the next step.
You will ideally have: Generalist HR experience and a good understanding of UK employment law.
Experience supporting employee relations matters.
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, contracts and employee documentation.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and confidence working with managers and senior leadership.
A professional, trustworthy and discreet approach.
The confidence to challenge and support managers when required.
CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous.
