Job Purpose

To support HR and administrative activities specific to a high-volume, fast-paced e-commerce warehouse environment. This role ensures smooth staffing operations, compliance, record-keeping, and employee support to help drive workforce efficiency and productivity.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Support
  • Coordinate hiring and onboarding of pickers, packers, loaders, sorters, and delivery support staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse staff attendance, shifts, overtime, and leaves.
  • Track and report daily headcount, absenteeism, and attrition to HR and operations.
  • Support daily workforce planning during peak and non-peak hours.
  • Handle staff queries regarding attendance, salaries, ID cards, leaves, and shift schedules.
  • Facilitate periodic training, briefings, and safety drills in coordination with operations and HR.
  • Monitor adherence to warehouse policies, health and safety, and hygiene protocols.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain up-to-date records of employee documents, contracts, and compliance checklists.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with third-party staffing agencies (if applicable).
  • Generate reports for HR and warehouse managers (e.g., shift compliance, onboarding progress).
  • Assist in preparing data for payroll inputs based on attendance and overtime.
  • Manage issuance and inventory of uniforms, ID cards, and PPE for warehouse staff.
Key Requirements

Education:

  • Graduate in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years in an HR/Admin role within logistics, e-commerce, or warehousing.
  • Experience with shift management and seasonal workforce handling preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Full right to work in the UK is essential; we do not offer visa sponsorship.
  • A car is required to access the remote warehouse location, as it is not served by public transport.
  • Native English speaker or equivalent.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in attendance systems, Excel, and HR software.
  • Familiarity with UK labour laws and compliance in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, target-driven environments.
