Job summary

Office Angels in Grays is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong Learning & Development focus to join a dynamic team. The role blends broad HR duties with driving learning initiatives to build workforce capability and organisational growth.

You will partner with managers, support performance and development planning, and lead L&D activities across the business. CIPD qualifications and stakeholder management are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Generalist, L&D, Talent Development or People Development.
• Experience supporting managers and stakeholders across a business.
• Knowledge of performance management and workforce planning.
• Experience coordinating and delivering training programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using HR and/or Learning Management Systems.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for developing people.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to identify skills gaps and workforce capability requirements.
• Support employee performance, development planning and talent initiatives.
• Lead Learning & Development from training needs analysis to programme delivery and evaluation.
• Manage compliance and mandatory training programmes.
• Oversee learning administration, training schedules, bookings and learner communications.
• Support apprenticeship programmes and professional development pathways.
• Produce HR and learning reports, analyse data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage relationships with external training providers and learning partners.
• Drive continuous improvement and embed a culture of learning across the business.
• Coach, develop and support two Learning & Development Coordinators.
