HR Generalist Administrator

Initial 12 month FTC

Location: Halifax

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Hours: 8am - 4pm, Mon to Fri. Hybrid working with at least two days in the office per week.

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading, award-winning Facilities client based in Halifax to support the HR Management team in a dynamic and personable environment.

Your role will involve assisting the HR team with the delivery of people policies, recruitment, onboarding, and training procedures.

My client is a prominent company that has experienced significant growth over the past 18 months, with a strong brand and a high level of customer focus. Their success relies heavily on their people and service quality.

Description

As HR Generalist Administrator, you will support initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, recruitment, and onboarding planning. You will also assist the HR Manager in delivering onsite training sessions.

You should possess a strategic mindset and knowledge of best business practices. Ensuring all HR policies and procedures are current and compliant with legislation is essential.

You will support departmental managers with HR-related advice, guidance, training, and support where needed.

This role covers the full employee lifecycle, providing generalist HR support to nearly 200 employees. The focus is on front-end recruitment, contractual offers, and creating a positive onboarding experience for new hires.

We seek a well-rounded, strong coordinator with generalist HR experience in a similar-sized business. Attention to detail, honesty, diligence, and passion are key traits.

The team of three current members values integrity, care, and a good sense of humor. These qualities are important for the new team member as well.

While CIPD qualifications are not mandatory, strong HR coordination experience within the private sector, ideally in a generalist role, is essential.

Additional Details

Hours of work: 8am - 4pm, Mon to Fri. Hybrid working with at least two days in the office.
