Job summary

ARC (Norwich) Ltd is seeking a HR Generalist to join our team in Wisbech. The role covers the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations and payroll support.

The successful candidate will provide practical HR advice, lead white-collar recruitment, manage offers and documentation, maintain confidential HR records and ensure compliance with current legislation. DOE salary is £31,000–£36,000 per year.

• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records.
• Support disciplinary, grievance, investigations and absence processes.
• Assist with appraisals, inductions, interviews and exit interviews.
• Coordinate annual leave and absence records.
• Support payroll processes including timesheets, overtime, mileage, OOH payments and pensions.
• Liaise with outsourced payroll provider and assist with reconciliation.
• Ensure HR processes remain compliant with current legislation.

We are recruiting for an established, privately owned business with over 40 years’ experience delivering high-quality services within the social housing sector.

We’re looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Advisor to join the team and work closely with the Head of HR, managers and senior leadership. This is a varied, hands-on role covering the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations and payroll support.

For this position, you must be able to do the following:
