Job description

An exciting position has arisen for a HR Generalist to join the team at an international charity in their London office. The successful postholder will play a crucial role in supporting the charity’s global operations by managing various HR functions.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Manage the full recruitment process, ensuring smooth onboarding for new employees
• Address employee enquiries, promote engagement and resolve workplace issues
• Support performance reviews and employee development programmes
• Facilitate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career growth
• Maintain and update HR policies , ensuring they are compliant with local and international regulations
• Oversee benefits administration and support employees in understanding and utilising their benefits
• Manage accurate employee records and ensure accurate and confidential handling of data
• Collaborate with HR counterparts in different regions to ensure consistent and effective HR practices
• Demonstratable experience in a HR generalist role within the not-for-profit sector
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws across different countries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently

Location: Central London

Duration: 6 months initial temporary contract, subject to further extension

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
