Job summary

Adecco are recruiting for an HR Generalist to support a Local Authority on a temporary basis. You will provide broad HR advice, manage employee relations and assist with recruitment, onboarding and workforce administration.

This hybrid role is London-based (Twickenham or Wandsworth), 3 days in the office per week, with a 3-month contract and potential extension. Pay is 24.62 per hour PAYE or 32.17 per hour Umbrella.

• Strong understanding of HR policies and employment law.
• Experience managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and proactive approach.
• Experience supporting change or transformation programmes is desirable.

Adecco are recruiting on behalf of our Local Authority client for two HR Generalists to join their team on a temporary basis.

As part of an ongoing organisational transformation programme, the HR team requires additional support to help manage day-to-day HR operations and relieve pressure on the Transformation Business Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HR professionals who can quickly integrate into a busy environment and make an immediate impact.

The Role

We are seeking proactive and adaptable HR Generalists who can hit the ground running and provide broad HR support across a variety of activities. You will work across the employee lifecycle, supporting managers and stakeholders with operational HR matters while ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

• A flexible and proactive approach
• Experience supporting change or transformation programmes is desirable
