Job summary

The Portfolio Group are recruiting for a HR / Employment Law Expert to conduct HR meetings on behalf of clients. You will handle investigations, disciplinaries, and issue outcomes including warnings and dismissals. A CIPD degree or strong people management experience is required.

This role involves 90% office-based work in Glasgow with travel across Scotland, so a driving licence is essential. You will deliver expert HR services virtually via Microsoft Teams to support clients with formal

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in HR, law or related business discipline or with substantial professional experience.
• Background in HR management, consultancy or in employment law.
• Highly professional presentation, service focussed and personable; quickly able to form good working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with clients and their employees as required.
• Undertake mediation, conciliation and other employment relations services.
• Provide clients with advice on legal position with individuals or groups.
• Provide prompt, high quality reports of outcomes within set time frames.
• Aim to achieve or exceed hearing targets set by management.
