Job summary

Middlemore is partnering with a leading UK services organisation to appoint a People Partnering & Solutions Director, reporting to the Chief People Officer. This high-impact role sits on the People Leadership Team and supports a major transformation with a large field-based workforce.

You will lead HR business partnering and employee relations, shape the industrial relations agenda with unions, and partner with the executive team on organisation design, workforce planning and the future of work.

Qualifications

• Experience at HR Director or HRBP Director level.
• Proven track record in complex, field-based organisations.
• Deep industrial relations expertise, including collective consultation and TUPE.
• Experience in organisation design and workforce planning.
• Ability to lead and develop HRBP and ER teams.
• Executive stakeholder influencing and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead business partnering and employee relations for a large distributed workforce.
• Shape the industrial relations agenda and manage union relationships.
• Partner with the Executive team on organisation design and transformation.
• Drive workforce planning to support growth ambitions.
• Define People Strategy to 2030 and translate priorities into outcomes.
