Job summary

The University of Surrey is seeking an HR Process & Systems Support to improve how we use systems, data and reporting. You will turn complex information into clear insights using Power BI and work with HR and other teams to implement practical data solutions.

Key responsibilities include building dashboards, gathering requirements, ensuring data accuracy and supporting system upgrades and reporting processes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience creating Power BI dashboards and data reports.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills with clear insights.
• Experience with databases/spreadsheets and data sources.
• Understanding of data modelling and DAX calculations.
• Excellent attention to data accuracy and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards and visuals.
• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders across the organisation.
• Support HR systems and data management on a day-to-day basis.
• Investigate data quality issues and coordinate fixes with teams.
• Create and maintain reliable datasets and automated reporting processes.
• Translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Produce regular management information and ad-hoc analysis.
