A dynamic recruitment agency is looking for an HR Coordinator in St Ives to manage HR and Learning & Development functions. This role involves overseeing HR documentation, supporting L&D initiatives, and providing first-level HR advice. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience, CIPD qualifications, and strong IT skills. This position also requires some travel across the UK and possibly Europe.

HR Coordinator (L&D) Learning and Development
St Ives
£30,000 - £32,000

Dynamite Recruitment are working alongside an exciting events business, helping them in their search for a HR Coordinator who will be a champion for Learning & Development.

This is a BRAND NEW ROLE, so a fantastic opportunity to grow it, own it and mature the L&D function.

The role with be 30% HR Coordination:
  • Managing HR and personnel documentation and correspondence
  • Issuing contracts and onboarding
  • Payroll administration
  • Process leavers
  • Liaising with internal teams such as marketing
  • Coordinating training plans
  • Benefit administration
  • Collate company statistical data
And 70% Learning and Development
  • Support the Head of HR with development and implementation of L&D initiatives and projects.
  • Develop training materials and training modules
  • Administration and organisation of employee workshops
  • Support the Head of HR with the creation of development opportunities for staff of all levels, from interns to senior management
  • Obtain and share L&D event feedback in a timely manner
This client has recently rolled out a new L&D Management system and a new training academy is being launched very soon so this would be a fab opportunity for someone with a passion for L&D to join and hit the ground running.

Experience with data uploading and configuration is highly desirable though not essential!

Knowledge Required
  • Experience in the use of HR IS solutions (Dayforce would be beneficial)
  • 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced HR team, providing first level advice on HR policies and procedures, employment law and supporting with Learning and Development activities
Skills & Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 3 or above
  • IT skills to intermediate level in Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to form and maintain effective working relationships (internal & external)
  • Training formulation and/or Delivery skills would be beneficial

Other Information

This position will require travel within the UK (mainly Wimbledon, Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire) and possibly Europe which will require staying away from home. A full, clean driving licence and valid passport are required
