About the role

We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Brighton office. You will support the HR team in delivering a high-quality, professional HR service, primarily through effective administration, including scheduling meetings, producing reports, and supporting HR processes. This role offers opportunities to develop your HR career and take on additional responsibilities.

As the HR Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for HR queries, providing initial advice, managing the HR inbox, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Supporting HR task management, including task assignment, document preparation, and reporting.
  • Administering employee benefits, handling queries, processing requests, and reporting usage.
  • Supporting HR processes such as appraisals, onboarding, farewell interviews, and maternity return programs.
  • Producing HR data reports and presentations for colleagues and senior leaders.
  • Organising HR meetings, training, and events, including room bookings and delivery support.
  • Maintaining HR documents and ensuring the HR portal is accurate, accessible, and compliant.
  • Contributing to HR projects and supporting employee relations cases, including note-taking and drafting communications.

What we're looking for

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and present findings clearly.
  • Professional communication skills with discretion handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and IT systems.
  • Experience in administrative or HR support roles, supporting multiple HR processes.
  • Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards it, with knowledge of HR best practices and UK employment law.
