Job summary

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is seeking an experienced Workforce Development and OD professional to lead and support organisational development, learning, engagement and culture change initiatives across the HR & OD service.

You will build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders, support the Service Plan delivery and contribute to culture, wellbeing, leadership capability and employee engagement across a large, diverse organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience working in HR & OD, delivering workforce development and culture change initiatives.
• Ability to design and deliver leadership development programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Workforce Development & OD professional to join our team. Working as part of our HR & OD service, you will lead and support a range of organisational development, learning, engagement and culture change initiatives that help develop our people, leaders and organisation. As a HR Consultant specialising in Workforce Development & OD, you will provide professional, customer focused HR and Workforce Development advice across the organisation. You’ll build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders, support the delivery of the Service Plan and contribute to initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, wellbeing, leadership capability and employee engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing our organisation, supporting cultural change and helping our workforce and leaders to thrive. You'll work with colleagues across a large and diverse organisation, delivering workforce development initiatives, supporting organisational priorities and helping to build a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.
