HR Consultant–£35,000 (depending on experience), Flexible / Work from Home with Client Site Visits

As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially aware HR Consultant to support our clients and contribute to the development of the business.

The Role

This is not a traditional internal HR role.

You will work directly with a range of client organisations, helping them handle real HR challenges and develop practical people management systems.

• Advising clients on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
• Supporting organisations with HR frameworks, policies and management processes
• Helping managers handle difficult people situations confidently and lawfully
• Delivering practical HR advice in a way that reflects the realities of operational businesses
• Contributing to leadership development and management capability work
• Supporting recruitment and organisational development projects where required
• Attending networking meetings and representing Progressa in front of potential clients
• The role combines HR expertise, commercial awareness, and client-facing advisory work.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is technically competent but also practical and commercially aware.

The ideal candidate will have:

• CIPD Level 3 qualification or above
• Associate membership of the CIPD (Assoc CIPD)
• Experience handling employee relations matters in a commercial environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence working directly with business owners and leadership teams
• A practical approach to HR that works in real organisations, not just in theory
• The ability to represent the business professionally at networking events
• The right to work in the United Kingdom
• Must live in the United Kingdom

Working Arrangements

The role offers a flexible working structure.

• Working from home is possible for a significant portion of the role
• However, the position will require regular travel to client sites
• Occasional attendance at networking events and meetings will also be expected
