Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an HR Consultant on a fixed-term contract to March 2027. The role partners with leaders to deliver practical HR solutions, drive change and support organisational priorities across the employee lifecycle.

You will provide expert guidance, coach leaders, lead change projects and use people data to inform actions, while building strong stakeholder relationships and continuously improving people practices.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced HR professional with strong business partnering and project management skills.
• You can analyse HR and business metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• You provide expert HR advice, guidance, and coaching across the employee lifecycle.
• You lead and support people projects, organisational change and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and leaders to deliver people solutions that support business performance.
• Support delivery of people strategies and organisational priorities with Heads of HR and leaders.
• Provide expert HR advice and coaching across the employee lifecycle.
• Lead and support people projects and change initiatives.
• Use people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and drive action.
• Work with Employee Relations to resolve complex people matters.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making.
• Drive improvements that enhance the employee experience and people practices.
