Job description

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our HR operational team based at our site in Crick supporting a number of sites across the UK. The role of HR Business Partner is truly a generalist role, where you will partner with senior stakeholders and take full HR responsibility for your sites, managing a variety of projects and initiatives. This is a multi-site role, therefore you should be able to travel regularly.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can juggle a number of changing priorities with a positive, can-do approach. Experience of working in Logistics/FMCG would be an advantage.

The HR Business Partner key responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day generalist role, partnering with General Managers and other senior stakeholders
  • Case management – advising & supporting grievance, performance, disciplinary, and absence matters, coaching stakeholders
  • Delivery of the Group-wide HR strategy
  • Managing employee relations issues related to change, including relationships with employee representatives and trade unions
  • Supporting the development and delivery of people plans across multiple business units
  • Influencing HR policy development and implementation to meet business needs
  • Ensuring effective performance management processes
  • Managing Tribunal proceedings with ACAS intervention as needed
  • Handling TUPE processes

The qualifications required include:

  • Experience advising on HR matters such as grievances, disciplinary, performance management, and absence
  • Experience managing cultural change and building trust
  • Problem-solving skills, systemic expertise
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Experience working in Logistics
  • CIPD qualification
