A leading global financial services organization is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance to the Fund Solutions business, manage HR professionals, and drive key HR initiatives, including change management and stakeholder engagement.

A 12-month fixed-term opportunity starting mid-August 2024 to work with a global financial services organisation covering maternity leave. You will undertake this lead role as Senior HR Business Partner, partnering the Fund Solutions business in the UK (and potential future expansion).
We’ll rely on you to be a thought leader in all aspects of your role, bringing sound judgement and fresh ideas across various HR projects. You’ll lead strategic people initiatives, collaborating with senior partners to develop, deliver, and embed business strategy and organisational change.
The role will oversee a team of HR professionals in the UK, working with the wider HR function and business leaders to deliver and champion a HR business partnering approach.
Strategic Focus
Act as a trusted global advisor and senior business partner to the leadership team, supporting the delivery of people plans.
Provide oversight and proposed solutions to the Country Head regarding risks and mitigations at the executive level.
Lead projects arising from the people strategy and other initiatives, including change and transformation activities.
Demonstrate high commercial acumen and strategic thinking, working efficiently across senior stakeholders.
Translate the company people strategy at a functional level to meet specific targets.
Work with leaders to evolve organisational design in line with Waystone principles to meet future strategic aims.
Support development and implementation of strategies to foster a high-performance culture.

Experience & Personal Attributes
Proven experience in a strategic Senior Business Partner role.
Customer-focused and delivery-oriented.
Experience in a highly commercial financial services environment.
Track record of leading change initiatives.
Knowledge of operating within a COE model and leveraging relationships for large projects.
Excellent communication, influencing, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Broad experience in talent, coaching, development, employment law, engagement, performance, and compensation.
