Job summary

Liberty Gas Group in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver day-to-day HR support, advise managers on ER matters, and drive performance, absence management, and disciplinary processes.

The role offers agile working with 3 days in the Birmingham office and travel to other Liberty offices as required; CIPD Level 5 is desired, along with TUPE knowledge and strong UK employment law.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent with strong ER and TUPE experience.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and advise managers on ER, disciplinary and absence issues.
• Support organisational change initiatives (TUPE, restructures) and performance management.
• Deliver pragmatic HR solutions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Salary

£(phone number removed) - £42,554.60 p/a inclusive of 10% Car Allowance (£34135 - £38,686 basic p/a) dependent on qualifications & experience.

Hours

40 hours over 5 days per week

Your role

You will work in partnership with the business to provide a pragmatic, accurate and comprehensive day-to-day Human Resources service, with a focus on supporting and advising managers in all aspects of employee relations including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management, along with organisational change (TUPE, restructures)

This role does allow for some agile working (homeworking), however you will need to work out of our office in Birmingham as well as further afield a minimum of 3 days per week.

What we are looking for in our ideal HR Business Partner

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (CIPD Level 7 is desirable), strong employee relations and TUPE experience along with excellent knowledge of the UK employment legislation and best practice. A strong team player with a highly organised and methodical approach, you’ll have the ability to coordinate, manage and balance multiple projects and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have experience within a similar fast-paced industry and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with managers, employees and Trade Unions. A valid driving licence and the use of a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
