HR Analyst - Peterborough

GBP 35,000 - GBP 37,000

An exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation as HR Business Intelligence Analyst. Working in support of the HR Services Manager, the HR team, and the wider business, you will develop intuitive and insightful standard reports in line with Business Objects.

As the HR Business Intelligence Analyst, you will analyze data fed into Business Objects from payroll and HR systems and develop Power BI dashboards to enhance people metrics across the business.

You will be naturally inquisitive and derive job satisfaction from learning and applying new skills to better understand business performance through accurate and insightful reporting.

In return, you will join a brilliant team that provides insight into the department's workings, the data they hold, how they want to use it, and why. You will translate this into reports that support narrative-building and strategic planning.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Maintaining existing report schedules and ensuring timely delivery.
2. Developing and testing new reports using the Business Objects platform and custom SQL queries where needed.
3. Providing end-user support for accessing and downloading key reports across the group.
4. Understanding and interrogating HR data stored within databases.
5. Developing comprehensive dashboards using Power BI.
6. Supporting process improvements within the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• A background in information-based work or a relevant degree.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools, including understanding data models and data joining techniques.
• Experience with reporting tools, including Business Objects.
• Strong Excel skills.
