Description
In this role, you will play a key role in providing first-line support and guidance to our diverse client base on a wide range of employee relations issues. You will work closely with the People Advisor Response Team Leader to ensure that client queries are handled efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- New Starters: Draft offer letters and contracts, manage onboarding processes, advise on right-to-work checks, and input new starter information into client HR systems.
- Leavers: Process leaver administration, handle leaver queries, draft leaver letters, update benefits providers, and support with exit interviews.
- Benefits Administration: Enrol employees in benefits programs, manage salary review and bonus/commission letters, and administer promotion letters and contracts.
- Payroll: Liaise with payroll providers as required.
- HR Systems: Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems, manage personnel files, and keep HR templates up to date.
- Other: Track and complete DBS checks, assist with trainee assessment centres, and provide ad hoc support to rest of the team.
Sustainable Success:- Respond promptly and effectively to client queries received via phone, email, and online platforms, providing accurate and timely information and advice on a wide range of HR matters, including ER issues.
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and employee data within the case management system and client HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the ER Response Team Leader or senior consultants, as appropriate, to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of knowledge management resources, ensuring the HR team has access to up-to-date information and best practices.
- Keep up to date with changes in employment law and HR trends, proactively updating knowledge and skills to maintain expertise.
- Ensure ensuring accuracy of data and records of advice given.
- Lead on contracts, handbook and policy drafting.

- Assist the team and support them to manage client relationships. Learn how to identify client needs, develop tailored HR solutions, and ensure ongoing client satisfaction and retention. Understand what we offer as a firm and start to identify opportunities to upsell services and introduce clients to other service lines within the consultancy, maximising client value and driving business growth.
- Manage HR administration for outsourced clients.

- Support HRBPs with complex ER cases for outsourced HR clients such as Redundancy, TUPE.
- Admin support to HRBPs on project work/OD.
- Support Senior HRBPs with documentation and prep for complex cases.
- Support the wider HRC team and be a confident point of contact for all queries.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the consultancy, ensuring seamless delivery of integrated HR solutions.
- Share HR knowledge and best practices with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of the consultancy's HR service offerings, identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion.

Skills, Knowledge and Essential Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other HR/reward related qualification desirable.
- Experience in an HR support role with exposure to employee relations matters.
- Knowledge of employment law and ER best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
