Job summary

VWFS Milton Keynes is recruiting an enthusiastic Apprentice to join the HR & Resourcing team. You will gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding and HR administration while working toward a Level 3 apprenticeship.

You’ll support candidate and employee journeys, coordinate interviews, onboarding activities and data records, with a supportive environment and opportunities to work on real projects.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in Human Resources, recruitment or business administration
• A strong desire to learn and develop
• A can-do attitude
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
• A proactive and flexible approach
• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Responsibilities

• Supporting recruitment campaigns across permanent, temporary, apprenticeship and early careers vacancies.
• Coordinating interviews, assessment centres and candidate communications.
• Assisting with onboarding activities, including contracts, offer letters and pre-employment checks.
• Maintaining accurate records and data across HR and recruitment systems.
• Supporting a range of HR and recruitment projects, helping to improve processes, enhance the candidate and employee experience, and contribute to key people initiatives across the business.
• Responding to HR and recruitment queries while developing your knowledge of HR processes and best practice.
