Job summary

Macfarlane Group in Coventry is offering an Human Resources Apprentice role at the Coventry Head Office. You will be part of the HR team, supporting recruitment and people administration while gaining hands-on experience across HR activities and completing a Level 3 CIPD‑accredited apprenticeship.

You’ll receive training and mentoring, with potential for a permanent role on successful completion. The package includes a competitive salary and benefits, with hours on a 37.5 per week basis.

Qualifications

• The role requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment administration: advertising vacancies, interviews, onboarding.
• Process new starter and leaver documentation with accuracy.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems.
• Assist payroll data preparation and absence reporting.
• Help maintain HR policies and company documentation.
• Support training, development admin and HR projects.
• Provide admin support to the HR team and Central Services.
